If you are not a member of the ICMA, please first obtain (at the minimum) Affiliate membership before applying for the MBA or DBA program. Although Affiliate membership of ICMA is open for any individual interested in management and accountancy, please ensure that you meet the minimum education requirements of the degree program you wish to undertake (given below). Application for ICMA membership can be done via this website by paying the joining and membership fees to Calwest as part of the application process to undertake the MBA or DBA education programs. Calwest will pass on the fees to ICMA. A membership certificate will subsequently be issued to you by ICMA.

Minimum Educational Requirements for MBA and DBA

The minimum educational requirement to do the MBA is a recognized undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification in any discipline; and for enrolling in the DBA program, the minimum educational requirements are both an undergraduate degree and masters degree (or equivalent). Those who already have an MBA can go directly to the DBA – for MBAs program offering once they become members of ICMA. You do not need to be have attained the CMA level of certification to do the DBA.
